Here at Norbury Wharf Limited we endeavour to offer the "narrow boater" a complete service. The main part of any narrow boat is the hull and structure, therefore we can offer you our on-site accredited staff who specialise in welding and fabrication. No task is too small... 
 
We regularly undertake the following: 
Fabrication of complete new cabins. 
Re-skinning of old cabins. 
Part cabin replacements. 
Boat lengthening. 
Refooting. 
Over plating. 
New base plates. 
Fabrication and fitting of lockers. 
Pressure tested tanks in Stainless steel, mild steel or plastic (diesel, water etc.). 
Skin cooling tanks. 
Fitting of replacement stern gear. 
Fitting of replacement rudder gear. 
Fabrication of new engine beds. 
Fabrication of side doors and hatches. 
Fitting of houdini hatches. 
Boat conversions (eg. semi-traditional to traditional). 
 
Coupled with the experience of our carpenters, electricians and painters all of the jobs that we undertake can be finished to any stage of completion.

Hawthorne had her wooden cabin removed and a new steel cabin fitted. 
Bounty had her hull over plated upto and including the water line. 
Victory was introdued as a day hire boat here at Norbury Wharf at the beginning of the 2011 season. Narrow boats of any size or shape - built to order. 
Wee Jenny was over plated due to corrosion of the hull identified by a surveyor. 
Quartz had a new front deck fitted following the replacement of a stainless steel water tank. 
Ember had part of her cabin replaced following an internal fire that gutted the boat.
